Had quite an eventful night last night. First went to the Gig in surrey Hills with The chevelles, Tsars and was all fine until after an hour the cops came to shut it down. Too many Drunk and high teenagers i guess? I don't get it though. So they shut it down and instead of like 500 underaged drunks contained in a venue their all strolling the streets of Surry Hills. Its a shame too because the whole concept of the Helen-Rose Warehouse is awesome. On entry we all got 3D glasses and there were 3D movies on the walls and random artists painting shit and like heaps of bands. When it was over like 500 of us made our way to central to either go home or a few went to a party in Clevely and the trains weren't going through central because of a bomb scare. So again like everyone stuck at the station? Good one cops! ended up getting pizza and catching a cab home.Was still enjoyable though.
The Venue was so awesome that its a shame. She probably wont have any more all ages gigs after this.2 years till i'm 18 and can not wait another day longer :(
camp is tomorrow and i am not one for the outdoors.
i should be packing instead i just started a Bob Dylan painting The packing will have to wait until i can get round the idea of canoeing in tomorrows 40 degree predicted heat!
